These Tips may help you to get through the COVID-19 Crisis
The COVID-19 crisis has affected societies and economies around the globe and will permanently reshape our world as it continues to unfold. Companies are closing down, people are losing their jobs and have problems to manage their daily lifes in times of lockdowns and restrictions. And the unfortunate corona virus will most probably stay with us for a while so we better get our act together.
Dr. Jason Shamil's blog offers a holistic solution to a smarter 21st-century living involving a healthy diet, exercise as well as personal grooming and style without impacting the environment. On his website you will find a wealth of excellent tips regarding health and lifestyle. Jason's philosophy: "Health and wellness are not magic, it's simply common sense. Unfortunately, common sense is not common, and my mission is to put the word "common" back in common sense in the lives of people." Jason and I have met on Instagram and discovered that we have many common interests and values.
I thought it would be useful to learn about Jason's recommendations in times of COVID-19. So I have asked him the following questions, which he has kindly replied in a 10-minute video (see link below).
1) First of all, how is the situation in New York, and how do you cope with it?
2) Many of us are now stuck at home and rarely go out. It's not easy to maintain mental strength and physical fitness. What do you recommend to stay fit - mentally, and physically?
3) The COVID-19 crisis does not only mean anxiety about catching the virus and getting sick but also to lose jobs and run into poverty. What are the best ways to fight stress?
4) I know this is a tough one – but when do you see the end of the COVID-19 crisis, and how do you think this will change our daily lives?
And here is the10-minute video clip with Dr. Shamil´s recommendations:
Thanks so much, Jason. I am sure your recommendations will inspire many people. Stay happy and healthy and see you in New York City one day!
