Canada is trendy
After a double-digit growth from most source markets in 2016, the first quarter of 2017 is already showing an increase of 6% from all European markets – and the boom is expected to continue during the summer season. It is no surprise that there is such a big interest now in Canada. This country is currently one of the most popular travel destinations worldwide – no wonder, given all the facts that make Canada so trendy: safety, pristine nature, world-class cities, legendary hospitality and all the great and innovative marketing campaigns run by Destination Canada and its many partners. And sure, the country is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, with many events all over the place and free entrance to the 47 National Parks – yes! What are you waiting for? On this blog, you will find 149 reasons to visit Canada. Will you give us your personal reason number 150?

Kudos to the Hosts of Rendezvous Canada 2017
Tourism Calgary and Travel Alberta were great hosts of Rendezvous Canada in 2017 (held from May 9 to 12). Unbelievable how over 1,800 delegates were brought to a show of the world-famous Calgary Stampede just for a lunch break. Hats off, guys and gals! And the Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, was the perfect location for the final evening function.
Under this link you can watch my little presentation of the German market during "Inside Track" - an international briefing for over 500 exhibitors, hosted by Destination Canada. Thanks to Emmanuelle Legault, Vice President International at Destination Canada, for her nice and special introduction ;-):
